Cleveland Indians
Date of birth: July 7, 1955 Cleveland, OH
High School: Collinwood HS (Cleveland, OH)
College: Cleveland State University
First Impression; School photo. Someone asked him what he wanted for lunch.
Career stats player: Cleveland guy through and through huh? In 468 career games, Dybzinski hit .234 with 3 HR and 93 RBI. He was probably parked behind higher valued talent and better prospects. He was traded to the White Sox for Pat Tabler. I don’t even need to do the full trade analysis because Pat Tabler played 707 games with the Indians hitting .294.
All Time Stat: His 3 homers were; Game 9 vs Texas in Cleveland off Jim Kern in 1980, Game 345 now with the White Sox in Chicago again against Texas off Charlie Hough and his last one was in 1984 in Chicago against the Twins off Ed Hodge.
Fun Fact: He was the first Cleveland State alum to be drafted into the majors. Baseball at Cleveland State was played for a total of 69 seasons. On May 2, 2011, Cleveland State University announced that they would eliminate the baseball team.
